About Winery
Beau Vigne (Bo-Veenya) was founded in 2002 by Ed and Trish Snider. We are a small, family winery with a production of about 4,000 cases per year and are known for our Cabernets.
Our family’s roots run deep in the Napa Valley. Martin Garzoli, Ed’s grandfather, arrived in the Valley in 1913. He was a Swiss Italian who, in Italy, was trained in winemaking. Martin would work the Hayfields of Napa and Sonoma during the day and make wine in an old barn at night. Nearly 100 years later the Beau Vigne Family is still making wine.
Our vineyard goes by the name of Stags Ridge and is the benchmark and centerpiece of Beau Vigne. Stags Ridge Vineyard & Ranch is located on the Eastern edge of Napa, situated in the Atlas Peak appellation at the very top of Soda Canyon Road overlooking Pritchard Gap, Haystack, and Stagecoach Vineyards.
Beginning with only a few acres of planted vines in 2002, Stag’s Ridge is now comprised of nine acres (eight acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and one acre of Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot).
As the Beau Vigne brand has grown, so has the need for exceptional fruit. We have sourced from some of the best vineyards on the North Coast and Napa Valley such as Bacigalupi, Dutton Ranch, and Lewelling to maintain the level of quality our patrons expect from us.

Tasting Panel
Intense dark chocolate– covered cherry and roasted coffee glide in on a sleek mouthfeel with seductive notes of blackberry and licorice. In its youth, this broad-shouldered yet already balanced red is cloaked in dark violets that bloom as it opens up.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Romeo is blended of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Malbec and 5% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-purple in color, it leaps from the glass with notes of kirsch, black cherry compote and warm cassis, plus wafts of lavender, forest floor and cloves. The medium to full-bodied palate is refreshing, featuring fine-grained tannins with elegantly styled fruit and a lively finish. Rating: 92+

Plums, blueberries, kirsch, dried flowers and chocolate orange on the nose. Full-bodied with fine-grained tannins, fresh acidity and a zesty, fruity character. Some walnut notes to close. Drink from 2023
