About Winery
Beau Vigne (Bo-Veenya) was founded in 2002 by Ed and Trish Snider. We are a small, family winery with a production of about 4,000 cases per year and are known for our Cabernets.
Our family’s roots run deep in the Napa Valley. Martin Garzoli, Ed’s grandfather, arrived in the Valley in 1913. He was a Swiss Italian who, in Italy, was trained in winemaking. Martin would work the Hayfields of Napa and Sonoma during the day and make wine in an old barn at night. Nearly 100 years later the Beau Vigne Family is still making wine.
Our vineyard goes by the name of Stags Ridge and is the benchmark and centerpiece of Beau Vigne. Stags Ridge Vineyard & Ranch is located on the Eastern edge of Napa, situated in the Atlas Peak appellation at the very top of Soda Canyon Road overlooking Pritchard Gap, Haystack, and Stagecoach Vineyards.
Beginning with only a few acres of planted vines in 2002, Stag’s Ridge is now comprised of nine acres (eight acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and one acre of Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot).
As the Beau Vigne brand has grown, so has the need for exceptional fruit. We have sourced from some of the best vineyards on the North Coast and Napa Valley such as Bacigalupi, Dutton Ranch, and Lewelling to maintain the level of quality our patrons expect from us.
The best way to experience Beau Vigne is to visit Beau Vigne.
"One of my favorite wineries, Beau Vigne's 10-acre Vineyard sits at a high 1,650-Foot elevation in the southern Napa Valley, back Soda Canyon Road, overlooking the Pritchard Hill Gap as well as the Stagecoach Vineyard. The AVA for these wines is Atlas Peak and the soils are all volcanic origin. The top-notch consulting winemaker is none other than Kirk Venge. The 2014's are terrific more fruit-forward follow-ups to their magnificent 2013's and dramatic 2012's, as this winery is currently on a qualitative roll"

eau Vigne Barrel Chaser is a refined and very pleasurable wine. It is quick to begin with a beautiful fragrance of red flower potpourri, cherry preserves, light mocha, espresso bean and cola berry. With time to open up, further brooding baking aromas of allspice, clove, cotton candy sugar, vanilla extract and nutmeg appear. The palate is bold and broad with tongue swirling flavors of dried cherry, currants, white pepper and hints of sweet tobacco. The tannins are firm and held snugly in place with a lace-up of vibrant acidity that carries the complexities of the mid palate to a lengthy finish.
