Description
For wines full of character and high in tannins. Accentuates potency, concentration, extract and tannins. Especially for Bordeaux, Rioja, Brunello, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, Blaufrankisch and Zweigelt.
Each Zalto glass distinguishes itself from all other glasses. From the perfectly executed balance to the extraordinary design. The achievement of the Denk'Art Line are glasses that seem nearly too delicate to hold and yet they are made just for that.
Zalto Glasses have always been produced following a tradition of using only the most highly skilled glass-blowers working with a selection of the best raw materials. This tradition, and the resulting fineness of each glass, echoes the delicate virtuosity of the great Venetian glass artists of the Renaissance. Technical perfection is the basic principle of the Zalto Glass Works.
The Zalto Bordeaux glass is suitable for many types of medium to full-bodied wines that tend to be higher in tannins.
Perfect for: Bordeaux, Rioja, Brunello, Amarone, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz.

About Winery
The Maison De Venoge offers here its Prestige Cuvée: the "Louis XV" 2014, made only from Grand Cru grapes. It is composed of 50% Pinot Noir from the terroirs of Verzenay and Bouzy and 50% Chardonnay from the Grand Cru terroirs of Oger, Avize and Le Mesnil sur Oger. There is no malolactic fermentation.
It is named after the King of France who introduced champagne to the Court and especially who authorized by royal decree in 1728 that champagne wines are marketed and transported in bottles.
The nose offers notes of citrus fruits that are found in the mouth. A very nice tension in the mouth also reveals notes of yellow fruits. The palate is both complex and mineral and the finish is very fresh.
The 2014 Louis XV Cuvée from Maison De Venoge has an excellent aging potential but can be enjoyed now as an aperitif as well as during a meal.
