Founded in 1973 by Fred and Juelle Fisher, the winery is nestled at the 1500-foot elevation on the western face of the Mayacamas Mountains between the Napa and Sonoma Valleys and home to their Wedding Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and Whitney's Vineyard Chardonnay. Their Coach Insignia Cabernet, Lamb Vineyard Cabernet and RCF Vineyard Merlot come from their estate on the Silverado Trail in the Napa Valley. It is from these two sites that the winery strives to fulfill their mission of producing world class Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
The 2012 Cameron boasts bright fruit with notes of cherry, blueberry and blackberry shining through. The opulent fruit aromatic is matched with hints of forest floor, autumn leaves and dandelion. Viscous and ripe on the pallet, this wine is expansive from the start with a fruit flavors of tart cherry, ripe plum and black figs. Showcasing young appeal from a brilliant vintage, this wine is irresistible and sure to show well from the start.
Cameron is named after the youngest member of the Fisher Vineyards family, Cameron Nelson Fisher, the last and final member of the second generation of siblings to join the winery.
