Winemaker Notes
Armand de Brignac Brut Gold is a blend of 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay, and 20% Pinot Meunier, crafted from three vintages (2009, 2010, and 2012). The wine opens with aromas of peach, apricot, red berries, crystallized citrus, and orange blossom, layered with subtle hints of brioche and honey. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet refined, showing flavors of cherries, exotic fruits, lemon zest, vanilla, and a touch of toastiness. The texture is creamy and silky, with excellent depth and a long, elegant finish. Despite a dosage of 9 g/L, the vibrant acidity makes it feel drier and more precise, giving the Champagne a fresh, lively character that pairs beautifully with seafood, poultry, or as a luxurious aperitif.
About Winery
The Champagne Armand de Brignac (Ace of Spades) brand is produced by the Cattier family estate, which has been cultivating vineyards in Champagne since 1763. Over 11 generations, the family has refined traditional, artisanal methods, including hand riddling and slow ageing in cellars more than 30 meters underground. In 2006, Armand de Brignac was launched as a luxury cuvée, instantly recognizable by its striking metallic bottles adorned with an ace of spades emblem. Today, under the guidance of Jean-Jacques and Alexandre Cattier, the winery continues to produce limited quantities of Champagne with uncompromising quality, making it a symbol of exclusivity and prestige worldwide
