Legend has it that in the 8th century, a monk named Emilian, left his hometown in Brittany to live life as a recluse in a cave in St Emilon. Though he lived in solitude, he achieved a quite a few miracles and rapidly gained fame. Hence after his death, his legacy continued and the town was named after him.
The charming medieval village of Saint-Émilion is possibly the oldest active wine producing appellation in Bordeaux, with vineyard plantings since the Roman times and is a source of some of France's greatest wines. Some of these pocket-friendly wines are Chateau Patris Saint- Emilion Grand Cru, Chateau du Pas d'Ozelle Blaye, Chateau La Fleur Chantecaille Saint Emilion Rouge, Chateau La Borne Rouge.
Just as Pomerol and St. Emilion are renowned for their Merlot and Cabernet Franc blends, Spanish wines like Valserrano and Asian creations such as Shunyi Chardonnay offer their own unique elegance and accessibility. Valserrano's offerings are known for their plush and refined character, while Shunyi Chardonnay brings a delightful Asian twist to the classic Chardonnay profile. We are pleased to present a selection of these exquisite wines, from the budget-friendly Valserrano Gran Reserva to the sophisticated Shunyi Chardonnay, ensuring a delightful experience for your palate.
