2016 Valserrano Gran Reserva
-
S$6288
Vintage: 2016
Region: Rioja
Country: Spain
The 2016 harvest was significant both in terms of quantity and quality. It produced wines with great balance, great aromatic quality, and very good phenolic ripeness, which added depth and length to the wines of this vintage. It was ranked as VERY GOOD by the DOC Rioja Control Board. Made from a coupage of Tempranillo and Graciano grapes from our best vineyards. It has spent 29 months in American (40%) and French (60%) oak casks and was bottled in July 2019.
Winemaker Notes
a fresh, lively attack. Pleasant, juicy, creamy tannins as it passes through the mouth, with a good combination of ripe fruit flavours and mountain herbs. The finish is long, with tannins to make the mouth water, leaving a long, lingering aftertaste
