Chablis wine is a crisp, dry white wine made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes in the northernmost wine region of Burgundy, France. It is famous for its bright acidity, flinty minerality, and absence of heavy oak aging.

Quality Levels

  • Petit Chablis: Light, simple, very zippy, and fresh.
  • Chablis (Village): Classic style with green apple and sharp minerality.
  • Premier Cru: Deeper complexity, structure, and richer texture.
  • Grand Cru: Powerful, concentrated, and highly age-worthy wine from the best sun-exposed slopes.
