A broader mouthfeel to this wine for a 2013. Medium to full body and round and velvety tannins. Lots of dried fruit and mushroom character. Drink or hold. (11/2016)

This entry-level Pinot from Domaine Serene outshines more than a few Oregon reserves. It’s splendidly clear, refined and aromatic, with a tantalizingly smoky note in play. There is a pleasing dusty character to the cherry fruit and the finish is dappled with highlights of cinnamon toast. It’s flat-out irresistible. *Editors' Choice* (PG) (12/2016)

Taut and focused, with lively notes of cinnamon-accented raspberry and strawberry, set on a deftly dancing structure. Lingers easily on the expressive finish. Best from 2018 through 2023. (HS) (2/2017)
