Vintage: 2022

Winemaker Notes
Twenty percent was fermented in new oak, the rest in tank. There is a noticeable restraint to the nose now, with the oak hidden beneath the fruit and minerals. The attack is more giving, with plenty of weight and power before the acidity pulls through from the middle to life the wine to a persistent finish that has the firm marl character of Corton-Charlemagne.
About Winery
Domaine Pinson Frères is renowned for producing high-quality Chablis wines, particularly their Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos. This wine is celebrated for its rich, opulent texture and complex flavors, often featuring notes of yellow plum, quince, and subtle hints of vanilla and spiceIt is precisely in the lowest and steepest part of Blanchot where the family's chardonnay vines, converted by the Bouchard brothers to biodynamic farming, are found. The rest of the magic occurs in the limestone and marl soils dating back to the Upper Jurassic period (150 million years ago), composed of minuscule fossils and oysters. Here, since 1982, the clusters that form the essence of Domaine de l'Enclos Chablis Grand Cru Blanchot have flourished.
As in the vineyard, Domaine de l'Enclos Chablis Grand Cru Blanchot is handled with the utmost respect in the cellar, always transferring the liquid by gravity and vinifying only with the healthiest clusters that meet high quality standards. Naturally, under this philosophy, the harvest is carried out manually, selecting the grapes on a vibrating table. This will merely be the prelude to all that is yet to come: gentle pressing, spontaneous fermentation from indigenous yeasts, and aging in stainless steel and wood (stainless steel vats for Domaine de l'Enclos Chablis Grand Cru Blanchot).
A perfect balance between power and freshness, there are few places in the world like Grand Cru Blanchot. Do not miss the opportunity to taste Domaine de l'Enclos Chablis Grand Cru Blanchot. Rest assured, there will be no cause for regret.
