Bottled under a full moon, the tides have turned for this rare spirit as more mentholic, herbal notes rush the senses, with intense smoke left behind in its peaty wake.
About Winery
Ardbeg distillery, established in 1815 on Islay, Scotland, is renowned for its heavily peated single malt Scotch whisky. Initially producing for blended whisky, it faced challenges in the 20th century, including closures and limited production in the 1980s and 90s. A turning point came in 1997 when Glenmorangie plc acquired the distillery. Since then, Ardbeg has experienced a revival, expanding its production and gaining a dedicated global following, becoming a cult favorite among whisky enthusiasts.
