The 2017 Hossfeld Coliseum Red Blend is terrific, offering a ripe, sexy bouquet of cassis, blackcurrants, Asian spices, and incense. Coming all from hillside fruit, it’s medium to full-bodied, has ripe, polished tannins, and has loads to love. It’s already hard to resist, yet I suspect it has a solid 20 years of prime drinking ahead of it.
