A tight and deep wine with a beautiful center palate of currants, berries, lemon rind and silky tannins. Rich and opulent, yet fresh. Lightly chewy with a caressing texture. 78% cabernet sauvignon and 11% merlot with malbec, petit verdot and cabernet franc.

Winemaker Notes
The 2019 Beaulieu Vineyard (BV) California Chardonnay opens with inviting aromas of juicy crisp apple, ripe pear, lemon curd, and subtle tropical notes woven with delicate white floral blossoms. On the palate, it delivers a smooth, round, and creamy texture balanced by bright, refreshing acidity, showing generous flavors of yellow apple, fresh nectarine, and sweet pineapple. Partial aging in oak adds a soft, warming depth with hints of vanilla, toasted almond, and subtle baking spice, leading to a clean, well-balanced, and lingering finish.
