In 2006, Sacha Lichine acquired the château with the vision of creating the world's greatest rosés, sparking what is often referred to as the "Rosé Renaissance". Under Lichine's leadership, Château d'Esclans has become renowned for its high-quality rosé wines, particularly Whispering Angel. The winery employs innovative techniques such as night harvesting and optical sorting to ensure the highest quality grapes.
