Established in 1868, Henschke is one of Australia’s oldest wineries. It has earned a reputation for high-quality, handcrafted wines through six generations of family grapegrowing and winemaking tradition in South Australia’s Eden Valley, Barossa Valley and Adelaide Hills.
This masterclass, led by sixth-generation winemaker Johann Henschke, offers attendees a rare opportunity to explore a selection of the family’s new-release 2021 Eden Valley single-vineyard wines.
The tasting encompasses two fascinating verticals – Mount Edelstone and Hill of Grace – from extraordinary old-vine sites planted in the 1950s. These Eden Valley Shirazes have become an integral part of Australia’s fine wine history.
