"Based on 47% Mourvèdre, 34% Grenache, and 19% Syrah, the 2017 Veracity is beautifully done, revealing a core of blue fruits, plenty of peppery herbs, violets, spice, and floral notes, medium to full body, and a great finish. It's one of those wines that grows on you with time in the glass, and I suspect it will be even better with another 2-3 years of bottle age (although it's terrific today)."

2007 Chateau Providence | Vivino 4.3

Made in a masculine, virile, full-bodied style with lots of density and power, the 2007 Providence is atypical for this vintage. Stylistically, it leans toward a style similar to the famed Chateau Trotanoy. Meaty black currant, earth, and forest floor characteristics combined with pure fruit and considerable structure make for a wine that requires several years of cellaring. It should evolve for 10-15 years.

Notes of cassis, licorice, crushed rocks, lead pencil shavings and graphite all emerge from this unctuous, ripe, pedal-to-the-metal beauty that's absolutely loaded with fruit and texture.
