Sonoma Coast Durell Vineyard has been the source behind some of the most sought-after Chardonnay wines in California h fortunate to work with two outstanding vineyard blocks that combine to make something special. Both bloc Wente clone Chardonnay were harvested at night and pressed to extract only the highest quality juice. This 2 lively and exotic with rich flavors, complexity and focus. We fermented in French oak barrels to produce an ex illustrates the balance and exceptional character of the vintage.

We source fruit from celebrated vineyards in both Sonoma and Napa counties, where we work closely with vineyard owners who use world-class growing methods for cultivating grapes of the highest quality. Our hands-off winemaking style allows the character and personality of these special vineyard sites to shine through in the finished wines.

Another Sonoma Coast release, the 2019 Chardonnay Durell Vineyard displays a fresher, livelier style, offering lime, honeyed minerality, and floral nuances that carry to a medium-bodied, beautifully textured, seamless Ch spine of acidity, good mid-palate depth, and a brilliant finish. It’s still tight and lively today, and I suspect it will months of bottle age. It should evolve for a good 7-8 years, if not upwards of a decade.
