Inniskillin Winery is a pioneering estate winery located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 1975 by Donald Ziraldo and Karl Kaiser, Inniskillin was the first winery to receive a license in Canada since Prohibition. The winery played a crucial role in establishing the modern Canadian wine industry and is renowned for its award-winning ice wines. Inniskillin's first ice wine harvest occurred in 1984, using Vidal grapes protected by nets to prevent loss to birds.
