Merlot, which incorporates 10% Cabernet Franc, 7% Malbec and small splash of Petit Verdot. Notes of plums, licorice and chocolaty oak all emerge from this ripe, sexy, downright delicious red that has tons to love. It’s ideal for drinking over the coming 3-5 years.” – Jeb Dunnuck

The aromas are barrel-forward at present, with notes of baking spice and vanilla in front of red fruit. The flavors are plump in feel but also come off as quite woody. There are lots of good things going on. Perhaps some additional time in the bottle will pull them all together. — Sean P. Sullivan
